To add two Object fields to the Objects table:
1.Go to Tools > System Maintenance > User Defined Parameters > User Defined Fields
2.Click on the drop-down menu in the File field. For each Activity file, you will see two options, such as Inward Loan and Inward Loan (Object AMV)
3.Please select the Object AMV option for the Activity file you are working in.
4.On the Authority Fields tab you will see that there are two fields enabled. These are the fields that you can change to include additional Object details.
5.In the Controlling File field, enter the name of the authority file you would like to include in the Objects edit table. Alternatively, you can click on the Options button to bring up an Authority Search window where you can find the file you need.
6.The File Display Name will default based on the authority file you have entered.
7.In the Authority Field Name, you can enter the display name you would like to assign to the field. You may decide to use the standard name of the authority file, or you may wish to give the field a different display name.
8.Save your record.
