RDA (Resource Description and Access) is a standard for both technical and content descriptions of digital and non-digital media. It is the replacement for the AACR2 standard with more support for digital objects than the AACR2 provided.
RDA is largely used by Libraries but also supports archives and museums as well.
You can read more about the RDA standard here: http://www.rda-jsc.org/archivedsite/rdaprospectus.html
RDA and Vernon CMS
Vernon CMS can use XML export to output your data into the RDA format.
For more information on how to export into RDA see XML Export and Standards.
