Latitude and Longitude are measurements that locate a site within a wider geographical context.
Enter a forward slash (/) and the underscore (_) as a delimiter between the degrees, minutes and seconds. The degrees, minutes and seconds can each be entered as decimals.
For example, you can enter 175_54_23E and the system will recognise and display this as 175° 54' 23" East.
You can specify your default directions (East or West) for Longitude in the Customised Configuration Window.

Searching
Search this field in the Object Datafile with 'Field Collection Lat/Long', or in the Site datafile with 'Latitude/Longitude' in Advanced Search, or use a Select Statement.
Reporting
Object: select 'Field Coll Longitude' in reporting.
Site: select 'Longitude' in reporting.
Sorting is available for this field, in Object select 'Field Coll Longitude from' or 'Field Coll Longitude to', in Site select 'Longitude from' or 'Longitude to'.
Internal Field Name
Click into the field and press Alt+F1 on your keyboard to access the pop-up window with the field names.
