About Vernon Browser

With Vernon Browser you can provide web (internet), intranet and kiosk access to your collection information. Data from Vernon CMS is exported into a separate database for use by Vernon Browser, giving you complete control over which records, fields and images are published.

Vernon Browser is highly configurable, for seamless integration into your website. It allows you to design custom search pages and display configurations for separate collections.

As well as simple keyword searching across all fields, the system’s advanced searching provides Boolean operations across user-selected search fields.

Search results are presented in label, light box and listing views. Users can switch between these different views using the icons on the toolbar, or select a record to view it in more detail.

Vernon Browser also supports thematic presentations of collection highlights. For example you can construct a curator’s walk through of a group of related paintings or objects.
