The Previous Loans table records the details of any loans that are the basis of the current loan. For example, a loan that was extended beyond its original dates. When you generate additional loans from an already existing loan, the initial loan record is kept intact and a new record is generated with the details carried over.
This table is automatically updated when you use the Inward Loan Renew, or Outward Loan Renew tools.
To renew a loan using either of the tools, open the loan record, go to Tools > Activities Management Tools > Inward/Outward Loan Renew.
