Indexes make searching on a field in Vernon CMS more efficient. Not every field has an index, and that is why you have to use a Select Statement to search in that field.
However, there are many fields that are indexed in Vernon CMS, and these can slow your system down.
You can consider turning off some of these indexes, especially if you do not use a field.
There are also some fields that you can turn the index on for, for example Hazard Type & Assessment.
