The Person Fields page allows you to select whether or not to export Person records to Vernon Browser. If your export configuration includes any Object fields controlled by the Person file (e.g. Primary Maker, Provenance Person etc) you can select whether you would like to export the associated Person records. Any export fields controlled by the Person file will be listed in the Person Roles To Export table.
If you choose to export Person records, the person name will appear as a hyperlink on Object records in Vernon Browser. Clicking on the hyperlink will open a page with further information about the person.
The Person fields exported to Vernon Browser are listed in the Person Export Fields table. These fields are fixed, however you can choose whether or not a field is displayed in the administration pages of Vernon Browser. You can also override the default labels for Person Roles and export fields, as well as the default conversions used for Person fields.
If you choose not to export the connected Person records, the person data will be stored as text in the relevant field on the Object record. The Authority Search fields will not be affected.
