WHAT IT'S USED FOR:
The Object Collectionsfield is where you specify the collection groups to be exported. These Object Collections are themselves configured in the Vernon Browser Object Collections window of the Vernon Browser configuration tool, and may consist of your entire collection and/or sub-collections within your main collection e.g. everything in a particular department or section, for instance Natural History.
WHERE TO FIND IT:
The Parameters page of the Vernon Browser Advanced Configuration window.
HOW TO USE IT:
Object Collections is an authority controlled field. You must create and save the Export Configuration record before you create Object Collections for inclusion in the export. This is because the Object Collection record requires the Export Configuration to be specified within the Object Collection Configuration record.
Once the Object Collection has been created, you can enter the name of the Object Collection (or its System ID) in the field if you know it. (If you enter the term incorrectly, or if there is more than one matching term, the Authority Search Window will appear, allowing you to select or search for a term.)
You can also click on the Options Button (or press [Alt + Down Arrow]) to select an Object Collection if Object Collections have already been created, or follow instructions for Creating an Object Collection record, as required.
Remember that Search Operators are useful search tools, and can be used in any authority controlled field.
