Period is used to record a period associated with an object or event.
For example:
oRenaissance
oNeolithic
oPre-European Contact
oMing Dynasty
If the record does not have a more specific date entered, the system will use the dates of period you enter in this field when doing a date search.

Search this field with 'Period' in Advanced Search, or use a Select Statement.
Reporting
Object: Select 'Primary Production Period' or 'Secondary Production Period' in reporting.
Event: Select 'Period' in reporting.
Sorting is available for this field, select 'Primary Production Period', 'Secondary Production Period', or 'Period'.
