If an existing format, the sorting or index order has been changed the internal stored version of the accession number in each object must be rebuilt.
The Accession Number Format Rebuild is a potentially lengthy process that shouldn't be carried out unless absolutely necessary.
To do an Accession Number Format Rebuild:
1.Use the Tools menu > System Maintenance > Accession Number Tool > Accession Number Format Rebuild.
2.Answer 'Yes' to the warning message.
3.Choose whether you want to rebuild the index afterward or not and click 'OK'.
Users do not need to be logged out of Vernon CMS to do an Accession Number Format rebuild.
