There are multiple ways to find records in Vernon CMS.

Search bar

You can use the search bar to do simple searches on a limited number of fields. You can use the search bar to search in all datafiles in Vernon CMS. This is the fastest way to search for records.

Advanced Search

You can use Advanced Search to search on all the fields. Advanced Search is useful for more complicated searches and searches that involve multiple fields.  You can also use Advanced Search to search for fields that are missing data.

Open your last accessed record

Go to the File menu and select Last Accessed Record, or press Ctrl+Shift+S.

Open your most recently accessed records

Go to the File menu and select Most Recently Accessed Records, or press Ctrl+A to open any of your 20 most recently opened records.

Open a random selection of records

Go to the Tools menu > Utilities > Random Record Selection to randomly select any number of records.
