You can select a set of random records from your system. This may be useful when doing a data quality audit.
1. Click on Tools menu > Utilities > Random Record Selection.
The Random Record Selection Window will appear.
The Random Record Selection window randomly selecting 30 records from the Object file.
2. In the File Name field, enter the datafile you want to select records from.
3. In the No. of Records to select From File field, enter the number of random records you would like. You can enter a number, or a percentage. If you enter a large number it may take the system a few minutes to return all the records.
4. Click OK. List manager will open with the randomly selected records.
