The Convert to Authority tool lets you switch the records you have open in List Manager to another datafile.
For example:
oFrom a list of objects you can convert to the Person file to create a list of the Acquisition Sources for those objects.
oFrom a list of people you can convert to the Place file to create a list of Places associated with those people.
To Convert to Authority:
1.Go to Records > Convert to Authority.
A list of the available Authorities datafile will appear.
2. Choose the datafile you want to convert your list into.
A list of fields will appear, choose the field you want to see and press Ok.
