The Publication Status field in Photo/AV records controls the publication of images in Reporting and Vernon Browser. If an image is not suitable for publication (for example due to copyright restrictions or image quality) it can be flagged as No Public Access or Restricted Public Access. Conversely, you may wish to flag your primary, publication quality images as Full Public Access, to identify these as the images to use in Vernon Browser.

Publication Levels and Reporting
You can specify the Publication Level of images included in Listing (Down the Page), Export and XML Export reports. To access this setting, click the Edit Report Template button on the left side of the reporting window, then click the Formatting Options button.
To only include images with Photo/AV records flagged as Full public access (or another Publication Status), select this from the drop-down menu in the Publication Level field.
By default, images with no recorded publication status will be included in reports. If you would like to exclude images with no Publication Status, tick the checkbox located below the Publication Level field.

Publication Levels and Vernon Browser
In Vernon Browser images with full public access are always exported and images with no public access are never exported.
The Restricted public access option allows you to make Vernon Browser exports with different photos. For example, you may wish to have two exports, one for use on your intranet, and one for publication on the internet. By marking Photo/AV records, which you do not have the right to publish with Restricted public access, you can publish them for your intranet, but prevent them from appearing on the public internet.
The use of Restricted public access Photo/AV in Vernon Browser records is set in the Export Configuration window.
