User Defined Fields are custom fields. These fields are provided for each major datafile and are separated into Authority, Text, Date/Number, and tables. Each table has an Authority field, a Date/Number field, and a text field, and sometimes a part field. There are five of each type available per datafile.
All the fields in the User Defined Fields window remain disabled until they have been configured. Once configured, they work like other fields of the same type.
