A KWOC (Key Word Out of Context) Report shows all the terms in an authority file and sorts them according to the key words they contain.
All the words in an authority term are included except conjunctions, prepositions, and abbreviations.
For example. Declined Acquisition will be shown under both Declined and Acquisition (its two key words).
A KWOC report on the Object Subject Category might show the following report.
Perform a KWOC Report
1.Click on the Tools > Authority Tool > KWOC Report.
2.Choose a datafile or enter its name into the Other field. You cannot run a KWOC report on the Object or Person datafiles.
3.The KWOC report will run on screen immediately after you choose the datafile.
4.To save the report, click on File menu in the KWOC Report window, then Save to File.
