The Topic file supports a standardised way of recording, managing and outputting content for exhibition panels, articles or other publications, and collection level descriptions of sets of objects.
For example, one site has used the Topic file for descriptions of sets of objects exported for inclusion in the Google Art Project.
The primary field is description, which contains the main content of the article or label.
Supporting fields allow you to document administrative details, such as request and approval information. You can also record rights information, as well as a full range of subject and association details.
The Topic file is hierarchical, so you can link records to create the structure your need.
