Clearing and Reporting on the Movement Log

When an Object's location changes a record of the change is stored in the Movement Log. The Movement Log needs to be cleared as it takes up storage space. During periods of increased activity, such as during relocation or inventory projects you will need to clear the Movement Log more frequently.

Report on the Movement Log

1.Go to the Report menu > Movement Log.

2.Choose your report type.

3.Select the fields you wish to view by selecting from the Field Selection list.

4.Add desired formatting or export for your report type.

5.Run your report.

To clear the Movement Log:
Clearing the Movement Log permanently deletes all the transaction details. Clearing the Movement Log does not delete the Location History that is recorded every time an object is moved.  

1.Go to Tools menu > System Maintenance > Clear Movement Log.

2.Click Yes after reading the warning message to clear the Movement Log.
