Field Multi Value Delimiter (MV Delim)

Scroll More

WHAT IT'S USED FOR:

The MV Delim (Multi Value Delimiter) field allows you to specify the character that will appear between multiple values for particular records. For instance if an object has multiple makers, their names will appear in Vernon Browser on one line with the delimiter between them. The default multi-value delimiter is a semi-colon with a space after it – i.e. multiple makers will appear as follows:

 Maker A; Maker B; Maker C

To display each value on a new line, use "\n" as the Field Value Delimiter.

WHERE TO FIND IT:

The Export Fields page of the Vernon Browser Advanced Configuration window.

HOW TO USE IT:

MV Delim is a text field - just key in the character(s) that should appear between the values exported from a multivalued field.
