When creating a new Group, it can be useful to use an existing Group as a template. The Copy Group tool lets you copy all of the rights and permissions to your selected Group.
This does not copy Users, Superior, or Subordinate Groups. This means that inherited rights are not copied over.
Use Copy Group with caution as it cannot be undone.
To Copy a Group
Before using the Copy Group tool make sure both Groups exist as their own record in Vernon CMS.
1.Go to Tools menu > System Maintenance > Security.
2.Click on the Copy Group button on the Security window.
3.Select the Source Group (Group you want to copy from).
4. Select the Copy Into Group (Group you want to copy to).
5.Click Copy.
