If fewer than 100 terms exist, the Authority Window will show all possible terms.
You can see how many terms there are in total and how many are currently being displayed at the top of the Authority Window. For example, 48/48 at the top of the box indicates that there are 48 possible matching terms and that 48 of them are displayed.
Some authority terms will have letters next to them:
a Narrower term which may have relationships to even narrower terms. Double-click on these terms to display the narrower terms or click on the expand button next to the term to expand the hierarchy.
a Related term. A related term is a term that is conceptually related to the term you searched for. For example, Soldering may be a related term to Welding.
a Use Instead term. A use instead term is a term that should be used instead of the term you entered. For example, the term Backpack may be a use instead term for Rucksack.
You can click the check box next to a term to select it.
If the term you want isn't visible, you can use the search box in the top right corner of the window to search for it.
You can view and reorder the list of terms you have selected by pressing the View Selected Terms button.
When you have selected all the terms you want, press OK and they will be loaded into the field.
