You can edit Authority terms of any type. Editing a term changes it throughout the whole system.
1.If the term you want to edit is entered into a field, click on it then press the Open Related Authority button

Otherwise, click into an empty field, and press the Open Related Authority button , when the Authority file opens, enter the term into Quick Search.
2.Make any edits, then save. If you are editing a hierarchical term, and you're changing the place it sits in the hierarchy, make sure to edit the Next Higher Term of the record, and the term below it in the hierarchy.
