Location Reason records why an object is in that location. This is a mandatory field in the Location table.

This field is part of a table including Part, Packing Unit, External, Date, and Notes.
Searching
Search this field with 'Location Reason' in Advanced Search, or use a Select Statement.
Reporting
Down the page reporting: Expand 'Current Location', 'Inventory Location', or 'Location History' then select 'Reason'.
Across the page reporting: Select 'Current Location Reason', 'Inventory Location Reason', or 'Location History Reason'.
Sorting is available for this field select 'Current Location Reason', or 'Inventory Reason'.
Internal Field Name
Click into the field and press Alt+F1 on your keyboard to access the pop-up window with the field names.
